Materials:

Yarn: Angora Ram 40% mohair, 60% acrylic (100 grams/500 meters)

#3027 – 2

#7003 – 2

Crochet Hook: 5,5 mm

Size: 60 cm/130 cm

Stitches Used: ch-chain, st-stitch, sl st-slip stitch, sc-single crochet, dc-double crochet, puff st(3sts)-puff stitch.

Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each ch across (103 sc)

Row 2: ch-4, turn, skip 1 sc, dc in next sc, * ch-2, skip 2 sc, sc in next sc, ch-1, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc, ch-2, skip 2 sc, dc in next sc, ch-1, skip 1 sc, dc in next sc, repeat from * across

Row 3: ch-1, turn, * sc in the space between 2 dc, ch-2, 3 puff sts with ch-1 between in the space between 2 sc, ch-2, repeat from * across, end with 2 sc in the ch-4 space

Row 4: ch-2, turn, sc in next ch-2 space, * ch-2, skip 1 puff st, dc in the space between 2 puff sts, skip 1 puff st, ch-1, dc in the space between 2 puff sts, ch-2,  sc in next ch-2 space, ch-1, skip 1 sc, sc in next ch-2 space, repeat from * across, end with sc in ch-2 space, ch-1, sc in the last ch

Row 5: ch-3, turn, 2 puff sts with ch-1 between in the space between 2 sc, * ch-2, sc in the space between 2 dc, ch-2, 3 puff sts with ch-1 between in the space between 2 sc, repeat from * across, end with 2 puff sts with ch-1 between in the ch-2 space, dc in same space

Row 6: ch-4, dc in the space between 2 puff sts, * ch-2, sc in next ch-2 space, ch-1, skip 1 sc, sc in next ch-2 space, ch-2, dc in the space between 2 puff sts, skip 1 puff st, ch-1, dc in the space between 2 puff sts,  end with dc in the space between 2 puff sts, ch-1, dc in the top of ch-3
Repeat from row 3-6, sc in each st across when the shawl reaches a desired length.

    Beautiful shawl pattern! Are the instructions written for UK or US? Because the dimensions are given in metric, makes me wonder… Also, what is the weight/category of yarn you used? Worsted, DK, or something else? Many thanks!

    Love your pattern, can’t wait to make one. Just so I have it correct in my head. The Puff Stitch is made with 3 stitches (3 yo) and there are 3 Puff Stitches with ch between in a set.
