MATERIALS:
Yarn: Hobbii Amigo XL /100% HB acrylic, 50 g (1.8 oz) / 100 m (109 yds) – 1300 grams,
color 1 – Gray Melange (A09) – 10 skeins
color 2 – Black (A12) – 5 skeins
color 3 – White (A01) – 6 skeins
color 4 – Chocolate (A06) or Cognac (A39) – 4 skeins
Crochet Hook: #5.5 mm (US H-8)
Size: L/XL/XXL sizes (model is wearing S-M sizes), square – 19 x 19 cm (7 1/2 x 7 1/2 in), length – 75 cm (29 1/2 in), width – 65 cm (25 1/2 in), sleeve (from the neck to the wrist) – 80 cm (31 1/2 in)
Please note, if you want to crochet a real-size cardigan you should adjust a square:
Actual size S/M – 6 rounds square and half square (one grey round)
Actual size L/XL/XXL – 7 rounds square and half square (two grey rounds)
Actual size XXXL – 8 rounds square and half square(three grey rounds)
Stitches Used: ch – chain, sl st – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet
PATTERN:
NOTE: you will need the same number of squares and half of the squares for all sizes.
SQUARE PATTERN (42 squares):
With brown yarn ch-4, join with sl st to the st ch
Round 1 (brown): ch-3 (counts as a dc), 11 dc into the circle, join with sl st tot top of ch-3
Round 2 (brown): ch-3 (counts as a dc), 2 dc in the same place, ch-1, 3 dc in the same place, * skip next 2 dc, 3 dc in next dc, ch-1, 3 dc in the same place **, rep from * to ** twice, join with sl st to top of ch-3 (4 corners), cut the yarn
Round 3 (white): connect white yarn to any corner (ch-1 space), ch-3 (counts as a dc), 2 dc in the same space, ch-1, 3 dc in the same place, 3 dc in next space, * 3 dc in next ch-1 space, ch-1, 3 dc in the same space, 3 dc in next space **, rep from * to ** twice, join with sl st to top of ch-3

JOINING
Lay 2 squares together with the right sides facing each other, connect the yarn through two corners, and start joining the sides of the squares with sl sts. Join all the squares together (please see the scheme below). After that fold the cardigan (red lines) and start joining the sleeves, sides, and bottom seams
SCHEME
Red lines – fold lines, pink lines – sleeve seams, blue and turquoise lines – bottom seams, green and orange lines – side seams.
BORDER
With brown yarn crochet 2 rows of sc around the front part and the wrists, then crochet a row of sl sts
