PATTERN

Measure the fullest part of your chest, crochet a square as an example (if you use another yarn) and count as many squares you will need according to your measurement, or you can adjust the square (less or more rows).

Diagonal of the 5 rows square is 12 cm or 4 3/4 in x 5 squares = 60 cm or 23 1/2 in

Diagonal of the 6 rows square is 15 cm or 6 in x 5 squares = 75 cm or 29 1/2 in

Diagonal of the 7 rows square is 18 cm or 7 in x 5 squares = 90 cm or 35 1/2 in

Diagonal of the 8 rows square is 21 cm or 8 2/3 in x 5 squares = 105 cm or 41 2/3 in

NOTE: Slightly small is better than too big because it will stretch a little. For example, my measurement is 90 cm (35 1/2 in), and the top is 80 cm (31 1/2 in).

I crocheted 6 rows squares top. So, at the beginning my top had to be 75 cm (29 1/2 in), 80 cm (31 1/2 in) after joining 5 squares in the circle, I’m 90 cm (35 1/2 in), the difference is 15 cm or 6 in.

JOINING

I will show you how to connect one-half square with two full squares. Join all the squares in the same way.

Row 6: connect the yarn to the 1st ch-2 space, ch-3, 2 dc in the same space, ch-1, sc in the 1st corner of the right finished square, 3 dc in the 1st ch-2 space of the unfinished half square,

(sc in next ch-1 space of the right finished square, 3 dc in next ch-1 space of the unfinished half square) rep three times, sc in next ch-1 space of the right finished square,

3 dc in the 2nd corner of the unfinished half square, sc in the corner of the right finished square, sc in the corner of the left finished square, 3 dc in the same 2nd corner of the unfinished half square,

(sc in next ch-1 space of the left finished square, 3 dc in next ch-1 space of the unfinished half square) rep three times, sc in next ch-1 space of the left finished square,

3 dc in the last corner of the unfinished square, sc in the 2nd corner of the left finished square, ch-1, 3 dc in the last corner of the unfinished square

I connected 2 the full square rows in the round. The row below is the half squares round. The neckline consists of a row of 3 half squares + 2 full squares, and one-half square under the last 2 full squares of the neckline.

Make 2 rows of sc around the bottom and the neckline

HALTERS

Mark the places for the halters, connect the yarn to the marked place, ch-1, sc in the same place, sc in next 2 sc, * ch-1, turn, sc in next 3 sc **, repeat from * to ** until you reach 74 rows
