This free pattern is inspired by the cute Disney character we all love, Minnie Mouse! She has the most cute ears and big pink bow. This hat will look cute on a little girl’s head and you can always make it as a Mickey Mouse Hat for a boy.

Yarn: use any fingering yarn

Crochet Hook: 2,5 mm

Size: 2 years old

ch-4, join with sl st to first ch

Round 1: ch-3, 11 dc in the ring, join with sl st to top of ch-3

Round 2: ch-3, dc in same space, 2 dc in each dc around, join with sl st to top of ch-3

Round 3: ch-3, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** around,  join with sl st to top of ch-3 (36 dc)

Round 4: ch-3, dc in next dc, * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc ** repeat from * to ** around,  join with sl st to top of ch-3

Round 5: ch-3, dc in next 2 dc * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc ** repeat from * to ** around,  join with sl st to top of ch-3

Round 6: ch-3, dc in next 3 dc * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 4 dc ** repeat from * to ** around,  join with sl st to top of ch-3

Round 7: ch-3, dc in next 4 dc * 2 dc in next dc, dc in next 5 dc ** repeat from * to ** around,  join with sl st to top of ch-3

Repeat Round 7 as many times as you need

The left and right parts of the hat make this way:

Row 1: make 10 dc across, ch-1, turn

Row 2: sl st in next dc, dc in next 8 dc, ch-1, turn

Row 3: sl st in next dc, dc in next 7 dc, ch-1, turn

Row 4: sl st in next dc, dc in next 6 dc, ch-1, turn

Row 5: sl st in next dc, dc in next 5 dc, ch-1, turn

Row 6: sl st in next dc, dc in next 4 dc, ch-1, turn

Row 7: sl st in next dc, dc in next 3 dc, ch-1, turn

Row 8: sl st in next dc, dc in next 2 dc

Make a row of sc around the bottom part of the hat with pink thread

The Bow

Make a rectangle. Width – 25 dc, length – 15 cm or 6 in. Wrap the yarn around the middle of the rectangle. Sew beads or little circles (repeat round 1) on the bow.
