So cute and flirty! Love it. Thanks so much for sharing your design.
Hi, i like yr skirt very much but i hv a question like i cant see the difference between waistband and the one you made initially… I mean you already measured it. Can u elaborate it. Thnx a lot.
I didn’t measurement it. It will be reduced due to the waistband pattern.
I love this skirt but I need it in a large so how many would I chain. You chained 200 for a small. Can you be of any help. Thank
you.
chain a multiple of 2
What about for a 2X sorry I’m a bigger girl
You just do however many chain stitches is big enough around for you; but you need to be sure that you do an even number of chain stitches.
Very cute! I am past the age of wearing a mini that short, but it can easily be adapted to make a longer version. Love it!!
Thank you, Lisa! :)
When doing the lace, do you fasten off for each row? Because I can’t see being able to carry the yarn to the next round. Thanks.
I have been wondering how does this stay on your waist, is it elasticated?
It’s such a great thing that you share your free patterns. However some people use your kindness and earn money. I have already seen many free patterns resold on Etsy.
Here is your yellow skirt:

The girl would not dare reselling it if she had bought your pattern!
Very cute. I’ve made this in size S and it will fit a girl with 30″ hips.
iVE SEEN DIFFERENT PATTERNS SIMILAR TO YOURS BUT I THINK THEY ARE MADE DIFFERENTLY THAN YOURS, I seen it in blue and in a maroon have any desmaroon red kinda color. also seen many long skirts done in lace i liked. I would like to see if yoj have any maybe not a lace cause too hard for me to work with it with RA but a light yarn. What kind of yarn would you recommend? because i would like make some for summer but not something that would make me too hot??
Honestly? It depends on you. You can use any kind of yarn. But, it is better use cotton, viscose or bamboo thread.
I am making this skirt. However there are many types of picot stitch, how many chains did you do above each dc for this?
Thanks
Hi :) 3 chains
Thanks so much :)
It’s looking good so far. Cute design, perfect for summer.
Hi I finished the main part and now want to start the lace bit. Do I do the lace top down or bottom up please
It is no matter
