If you have some leftover yarn that you don’t know what to do with then this project for you! I’ve spent two evenings making this bright summer poncho and I liked the result very much. Also, you could use it as a scarf.
Materials:
Yarn: Alize Bella Fingering / 4 ply 100% Cotton 196 yards / 50 grams – 150 grams
Crochet Hook: 3 mm
Stitches Used: ch-chain, sl st-slip stitch, sc-single crochet, dc-double crochet, tc-triple crochet, tc6tog – triple crochet 6 together
Length:14,5 in or 37cm
Width: 16,5 in or 42 cm
Motif: 4×4 in or 11×11 cm
Square
ch-5, join with sl to the 1st chain
Round 1: ch-5, dc into the circle, ch-2, *dc into the circle, ch-2 ** repeat from * to ** 6 times, join with sl st to top of ch-3
Round 2: sl st in ch-2 space, ch-5, 2 tc in same space, * ch-2, 3 tc in next ch-2 space, ch-5, 3 tc in next ch-2 space **, repeat from * to ** twice, ch-2, 3 tc in next ch-2 space, ch-5, join with sl st to top of ch-5
Round 3: ch-4, tc in same space, tc in next 2 tc, * ch-1, tc in next 2 tc, tc2tog in next tc, ch-3, 2 tc with ch-3 between in next ch-5 space, ch-3, tc2tog in next tc, tc in next 2 tc **, repeat from * to ** twice, ch-1, tc in next 2 tc, tc2tog in next tc, ch-3, 2 tc with ch-3 between in next ch-5 space , ch-3, join with sl st t top of ch-4
