Add a handmade touch to your Christmas tree this year. You will be able to crochet these adorable Christmas stars in one evening. I crocheted mine in 3 hours – 10 small and 1 big. You can use any yarn you have for this project but I recommend using glitter yarn for festive shining :)
MATERIALS:
Yarn: “Cool” skeins of Lanas Gayfil, 60% viscose, 20% lurex and 2% polyamide – 1 cake
Crochet Hook: 2,5 mm
Size: small – 5 cm, big – 6 cm
Stitches Used: ch-chain, sl st-slip stitch, sc-single crochet, dc-double crochet
PATTERN:
ch-5, join with sl st to the 1st ch
Row 1: ch-3 (count as a stitch), 2 dc into the circle, ch-3, * 3 dc into the circle, ch-3 **, rep from * to ** 3 times, join with sl st to top of ch-3 (5 ch-3 spaces)
Row 2: sc in next dc, 3 dc in next ch-3 space, ch-4, 3 dc in same space, * skip next dc, sc in next dc, 3 dc in next ch-3 space, ch-4, 3 dc in same space **, rep from * to ** 3 times, join with sl st to top of ch-3 (5 ch-4 spaces), pull a loop and fasten the thread
