Finally, I’ve done :) I was looking for a pattern for my MacBook Air case for ages but when I found this digram I realized this is what I was looking for so long.
I am very happy with it just by looking at the pattern and color combination. This is made for my 11’’ MacBook Air, but you can crochet it to fit any devices just chain multiple of 3+2 until you’ll reach the desired width.
MATERIALS:
Yarn: Alize Cotton Gold, Sport / 5 ply, 55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic, 360 yards / 100 grams – 100 grams
Crochet Hook: 3 mm
Size: MacBook Air 11’’, 30×22 cm or 12×9 in
Stitches Used: ch-chain, sc-single crochet
PATTERN:
Chain multiple of 3+2
Row 1: ch-80, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, skip next ch, 2 sc with ch-2 between in next ch, * skip next 2 chs, 2 sc with ch-2 between in next ch **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the row, skip next ch, sc in the last ch
Row 2: ch-1, turn, sc in the 1st sc, * 2 sc with ch-2 between in next ch-2 space **, repeat from * to ** to the last sc, sc in the last sc
Repeat Row 2
Crochet 20 cm or 8 in with grey yarn
Then crochet 20 cm or 8 in with orange yarn
Green – 10 rows
Grey – 3 rows
Orange – 3 rows
Green – 2 rows
BUTTON:
The last two rows (green)
Row 1: mark 2 ch-2 spaces in the middle of the cover, repeat the pattern to the 1st marked ch-2 space, work 1 sc in the 1st marked ch-2 space, ch-8 (the number of ch sts depend on your button), sc in the next marked ch-2 space, repeat the pattern to the end of the row.
Row 2: ch-1, turn, sc in the 1st sc, sc in each sc and 2 sc in each ch-2 space to the end of the row, work 8 sc in ch-8 space
Fold it up (like I did) and …
… sew it.
