what size hook r u using? Also I would like to know how many chains to do to make an afghan. this is a beautiful stitch, I’ve haven’t come across before. Thanks for any help.Kim
Hi Kim!
I’m using 3 mm hook size. I think it depends on the size of your blanket. Just start your first row off in the length you wish to make it. Crochet 10-20 chains and see how many inches this adds up. Then you can see how many chains per inch. You just make as many chains as you need for the width of your afgan.
Can you tell me what kind of yarn you used?
Thank you.
JANE, I’M WONDERING WHAT TYPE OF YARN ARE YOU USING? I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A SUMMER SCARF IN THIS PATTERN.
Hi Jane. What multiples can I use to increase the size of this afghan? Also need to know the type of yarn you used – DK, 4 ply, etc.
Many thanks for taking the time to answer! Cheers, heather
R=16. See diagram. You can use any type of yarn. I’ve used Bella by Alize Sport / 5 ply100% Cotton196 yards / 50 grams
