I’m sorry — please ignore my query about the puff stitch. I found instructions for that and a bobble & popcorn stitch by noodling around on this very website. Now I’m ready to start round #3 on #2 snowflake. Thank you anyway — love these patterns!

  3. Lydia Brown says:

Hiya are these patterns for snowflakes using UK or US abbreviation terms? I’m fairly new to crochet and don’t want to get it wrong !

  4. Mona says:

How do you stiffen these when completed? I made some last year and followed the directions given and for some reason they looked dirty when they dried, not the bright white of the thread used.

  5. Marlene Enns says:

We are going to a family wedding 3 days before Christmas so I want to crochet a snowflake and attach it to the outside of the wedding card envelope. Hopefully every year the happy couple hang this snowflake on their Christmas tree it will remind them of their wedding day and the Aunt who handmade it for them. Making Memories!!!!

Ty for the video instructions. All the same parts were confusing til I watch the video. Great patterns! Looks great on my winter wreath

  7. Stephanie says:

I’ve always mixed white glue with a bit of water. You can add glitter to it if you want.
Pin the snowflake to a board. (I always used a piece of cardboard with wax paper covering it). Using a paint brush, saturate the snowflake in the watered-down glue. Let it dry.
