British vs American English Crochet Terms
When you are starting some new project at first you should check where the pattern is from so you know what abbreviation really means. Sometimes it’s very confusing, especially for a newbie crocheter. Unfortunately crochet patterns are not universal and British crochet terms and American terms use different names for the same stitches. Check the table below to see the difference :)
Wildflower Crochet Dresses Pattern
I simply love these dresses by Naomi K. Sills, they look gorgeous in any color. Are you more likely to wear long crochet maxi or a little crochet mini? You can easily create any of these beautiful dresses. For this project you will need two size crochet hooks, one big and one small (smaller hook for the waist). As for the yarn, I think 100% cotton will be a perfect choice for the summer dress. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Comments are appreciated :)
Sunny Spread Crochet Blanket Free Video Tutorial
Finally I finished my blanket! I decided to make a video on how I did that Sunny Spread Motif (you can find it below). If you have any questions feel free to ask me :)
For this crochet blanket I used Papatya Batik 100% acrylic (100 gr / 360 meters) 16 balls of yarn. Hook size: 4 mm. I made my blanket with 17×11 squares. The finished blanket size is about 220×150 cm / 87” x 59” and weighs a bit more than 1,5 kg. The squares are joined together with a slip stitch. I used this free crochet pattern.
Fast, fun and easy crochet! This blanket is very warm and will be nice for a cold winter nights.
