I love this pattern, but I can’t understand row 2 of the bikini top one bit…… Help!!!!
Make 1st row, then make ch-3, turn your work and follow instructions.
Thank yiu for the bikini pattern! Please could you tell me the gauge as I can’t find this yarn in UK. Thanks
It is sport weight yarn and it is elastic thread
The yarns are made in Turkey alizeyarn diva comfort stretch look at Etsy
I’m using a sport weight yarn and bought a spool of elastic thread to use since I don’t have elastic type yarn. I just crochet with both and it seems to be working out quite well. I’ve never made a swimsuit before but I have a photo shoot coming this Saturday and I thought omg this would be a perfect swimsuit to wear and it would give me a chance to promote my skills as a hooker lol! Win win! Thanks for the awesome pattern!
So far so good! I, at the pineapple part now. However only issue I am for seeing is because I am so short I’m not going to get three pineapple repeats maybe two:( the only thing I don’t like about knit picks sport weight yarn is that it is so thicker than the majority of sport yarns, it’s more like DK and what’s funny is their DK cotlin yarn is more like sport lol.. Ughh.. I tried using the smallest hook I can and its still not getting small enough for me to get three repeats. Of well. Guess I’ll make do with two.
Just finished it and it turned out great ^^ Thanks for sharing this lovely pattern so easy to follow and adjust. I didn’t get 3 pineapples, i guess it’s because the yarn i used was too soft. however with only one it’s perfect.
Thank you once again!
Thank you,Julie! Glad to hear it!
I’m living in d Caribbean and yarn types are limited, the only thing I getting is worsted and thread, both in cotton and acrylic so I’m using acrylic thread and so far so good, thanks 4 the pattern. Can I sell any bikini I make
Thank you so much for this free pattern. By the way, I go by @crochetbyqueengee on Instagram and now follow you. Keep up the good work you do.
Great pattern I’m just not sure how to start the pineapple cause it says to skip the 1st 22sc or something like that I’ll figure it all out cause I’m brilliant like that so lm not worried at all,!! Love the pattern!

Very nice! I am in love with this crochet swimsuit. I can’t wait to try this. Thanks for sharing the great article.
Lovely pattern, I have a Alize diva stretch, can I double the thread with my 2.75 hook, also you’re only gradually increasing on one side as you build the bottom , that’s correct?
Good morning. I love the pattern but before starting I read it first & for the top in row 1 it says” dc in 5th from hook and then dc in nxt 14 and after” it says dc in nxt 16. So would that mean I go on the other side for my 16
Hi, this is gorgeous! I’m curious how to make the larger size for the cups?
Thank you! Just crochet more rows to the desired size
