MATERIALS:
Yarn: Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4, Fingering, 186 yards (170 meters) /50 grams (1.76 ounces), 100% Cotton: 1 skein of #58 and #66, 7 skeins of #01
Crochet Hook: 3 mm
Gauge: 22 sts / 13 rows = 10×10 cm (4×4 in)
Stitches Used: ch-ch – chain, sl st – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet
Size: S/M, chest – 39 cm (15 1/2 in), bottom – 51 cm (20 in), length – 84 cm (33 in)
This pattern is made to measure which means that you can easily crochet this pattern in any size you want. Even with different sizes of hook and yarn
PATTERN:
Measure the fullest part of your chest. Crochet a front part of the top. The length of the back part of the top depends on your measurement. I crocheted 15 cm (6 inches) after that join two sides with sl sts.
Make 2 rows of sc around the top and the bottom parts of the top and start crocheting shoulder straps. I made them a bit wider – 8 hdc / 44 rows. Connect the strap to the back part by sl sts.
Round 1-20: connect the yarn to the bottom part pull the loop, dc in each dc to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 21: an increasing round, pull the loop, * dc in next 2 hdc, 2 dc in next hdc **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 22-38: pull the loop, dc in each dc to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 39: an increasing round, pull the loop, * dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 40-70: pull the loop, dc in each dc to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 71: ch-1, sc in same place, ch-1, * sc in next dc, ch-1 **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st sc
RUFFLE:
Round 1: connect the thread to any st of the dress, ch-1, work sc in each st across the dc (or hdc) around, join with sl st to the 1st sc
Round 2: ch-1, turn, sc in same place, ch-1, * sc in next sc, ch-1 **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st sc
I crocheted 6 ruffles.
1st ruffle – on the 2nd sc row of the bottom part of the top
2nd ruffle – the last hdc round
3rd ruffle – between next 2 colorful stripes
4,5,6th ruffles – between the last 2 colorful stripes
