CROCHET SNOWFLAKES FREE PATTERNS

crochet-snowflake-free-patterns

Hi everyone! Today, we will crochet a very easy snowflake. I’m working on my orders right now and I don’t have time to post bigger patterns. So, I decided to record five small videos on how to crochet the easiest snowflakes ever. In this video, I will show you how to make a garland using this pattern without cutting your yarn. You can use this technique in your other projects. The rest of the snowflakes will be in the playlist and on my blog.

YOU WILL FIND A PDF PATTERN IN MY ETSY AND RAVELRY SHOPS

MATERIALS:

YARN: any 8/8 cotton yarn

CROCHET HOOK: #3

PATTERN:

SNOWFLAKE #1

I’m using 8/8 cotton. I usually use #5 crochet hook but for this project I chose #3 crochet hook, it makes the snowflake tighter. So, let’s get started!

Round 1: make a magic ring, ch-2 (count as a dc), 11 dc into the circle, join with sl st to top of ch-2

Round 2: ch-1 (count as a sc), sc in next dc, dc in next dc, tc in same dc, picot, dc in same dc, * 2 sc in next dc, dc in next dc, tc in same dc, picot, dc in same dc **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st st

Pull the loop and hide it through the last round of the snowflake, then measure the needed length of the thread and start crocheting the second snowflake.

Thank you very much for these 5 patterns. I like to crochet snowflakes in december to give to firends and family and these are beautiful additions.
