Hi everyone! Today we will crochet a very easy dress. I used a simple pattern because I wanted to emphasize the beauty of the yarn gradient. You will be able to adjust this dress to any size you need and you can use any yarn you like. So, let’s get started.
Every sale from my Etsy shop will go to support Ukrainian volunteers. Please click the link this link: https://www.comebackalive.in.ua/ If you to help Ukraine directly. Thank you!

Stitches Used: ch – chain, sl st – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet
Crochet Hook: #3
PATTERN:
Measure the fullest part of your chest and start crocheting a foundation dc row. I crocheted 156 dc.
Round 1: 156 dc, join with sl st to the 1st st
Round 2: pull the loop, dc in each dc to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Repeat Round 2 until you reach the waistline. I crocheted 20 rounds of dc. if you want to outline your waist start crocheting a grid. The grid makes the waistline narrower, please keep that in mind. If you want a straight dress replace the grid part with dc rounds.
Round 21: pull the loop, * dc in next dc, skip next dc, ch-1 **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 22: pull the loop, * dc in next dc, ch-1, dc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Repeat Round 22 10 times
Round 33: pull the loop, dc in each dc and ch-1 space to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 34: start increasing the hips part, pull the loop, * dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 35-52: pull the loop, dc in each dc to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 53: the 2nd increasing round, pull the loop, * dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
Round 54-70: pull the loop, dc in each dc to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st dc
The number of stitches in the second last round (Round 70) should be multiple of 6
Round 71: pull the loop, sc in the 1st dc, * skip next 2 dc, 5 dc in next dc, skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the round, join with sl st to the 1st sc, cut the thread
Back to the upper part of the dress. I added 6 rounds of dc using the 2nd color.
I divided the number of stitches this way: 60 dc go to the front part, 56 dc go to the back part, and 20 dc go to each armhole. You should mark your own places for these parts. Connect the yarn to the 1st marked dc and start crocheting the grid again:
Row 1: ch-4, skip next dc, dc in next dc, * ch-1, skip next dc, dc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** to the 2nd marked dc
Row 2: ch-4, turn, dc in next dc, * ch-1, dc in next dc **, repeat from * to ** to the end of the row
Repeat Row 2 8 times
7 ch-1 spaces go to each shoulder strap, I made 8 rows.
Crochet the back part in the same way. Join the shoulders straps by sl sts from the wrong side.
Make a row of sc around the neckline.
Crochet a row of dc around the armholes. This round should be a multiple of 6. Repeat Round 71.
