Let’s dream about summer to boost our mood and energy! Each stripe of this colorful crochet bikini reminds me about the sun – yellow stripe, sea – turquoise stripe, bougenvilia – pink stripe. If you frame the stripes with white ties, you will see the perfect color combination. You can use your favorite colors and create your own style. Also, you can adjust the pattern to your size. I recommend you to use your comfortable bikini as a sample and increase and decrease stitches according to it.

MATERIALS:

Yarn: Alize Bella Fingering / 4 ply 100% Cotton 196 yards / 50 grams –

Size: XS, S,M,L

top: width-17 cm, height-16 cm, neck tie length-45 cm, back tie-145 cm

bottom: length-37 cm (from the front to the back part), back width-from 4cm to 33cm, front width-from 4cm to 18 cm, ties-43 cm

Crochet Hook: 2 mm

Stitches Used: ch-chain, sl st-slip stitch, sc-single crochet, hdc-half double crochet, dc-double crochet,

Gauge: 26.0 sts = 10 cm

PATTERN

TOP (ABCD cups)

Color 1

Row 1: ch-4, 5 dc in the 1st ch (count as a wrong side)

Row 2: ch-2, turn, 3 hdc in the same st, hdc in each st to the end of the row, 3 hdc in the last st (count as a right side)

Color 2

Row 3: ch-2, hdc in the same space, hdc in each st to the end of the row (wrong side)

Row 4: ch-2, turn, 3 hdc in the same st, hdc in each st to the end of the row, 3 hdc in the last st (right side)

Color 3

Row 5: ch-2, hdc in the same space, hdc in each st to the end of the row (wrong side)

Row 6: ch-2, turn, 3 hdc in the same st, hdc in each st to the end of the row, 3 hdc in the last st (right side)

Repeat the last two rows, don’t forget to change the color of yarn also add 3 hdc at the beginning  and in the end of each right side row. Crochet 8 colorful lines. 8 colorful lines is 16 rows

Row 17: ch-2, hdc in the same space, hdc in each st to the end of the row (wrong side)

Row 18: ch-2, turn, 2 hdc in the same st, hdc in each st to the end of the row, 2 hdc in the last st (right side)

Repeat the last two rows, don’t forget to change the color of yarn also add 2 hdc at the beginning and at the end of each right side row. Crochet 5 colorful lines. Total is 13 colorful lines or 26 rows

Change the yarn and start crocheting sc around the right side of the cup but from this corner.

When you reach the top of the cup start crocheting 100 chain stitches.

dc in the 4th ch from the hook.

dc in each ch to the end of the row, than make 1 dc in the last sc.

crochet a row of across the second side and join with sl st to the 1st st

ch-4, skip next sc, dc in next sc, * ch-1, skip next sc, dc in next sc ** , repeat from * to ** across the bottom part

Make 2 cups (C,D cups )

Don’t crochet the last 4 rows for A,B cups.

TiE

Ch-300, hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook, hdc in each ch to the end of the row

BOTTOM

FRONT PART

NOTE: measure the crotch of your favorite bikini menus 1 cm from the width.

Color 1

Row 1: crochet a foundation row 9 dc (wrong side)

Row 2: ch-2, turn, hdc in each st to the end of the row (right side)

Repeat the second row, don’t forget to change the color of yarn every two rows. Crochet 6 colorful lines or 12 rows

Row 13:  ch-2, hdc in the same space, hdc in each st to the end of the row (wrong side)

Row 14: ch-2, turn, 2 hdc in the same st, hdc in each st to the end of the row, 2 hdc in the last st (right side)

Repeat Row 13-14 two times. 9 colorful lines or 18 rows

Row 19: ch-2, hdc in the same space, hdc in each st to the end of the row (wrong side)

Row 20: ch-2, turn, 3 hdc in the same st, hdc in each st to the end of the row, 3 hdc in the last st (right side)

Repeat Row 19-20 6 times. 16 colorful lines or 32 rows

BACK PART

Row 1: ch-2, hdc in the same space, hdc in each st to the end of the row (wrong side)

Row 2: ch-2, turn, 3 hdc in the same st, hdc in each st to the end of the row, 3 hdc in the last st (right side)

Repeat Row 1-2 17 times. 18 colorful lines or 36 rows

TIES

Ch-100, join to bottom from the wrong side, crochet sc in each hdc to the end of the row, in the end of the row ch-102, dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, dc in each ch and sc across the ties and the bottom.

Back part ties make in the same way.
