You can use any type of yarn for these shorts because this pattern is made-to-measure.
I used:
Drops Shafran, Super Fine, 100% Egyptian Cotton, 50 g (1.75 oz) / 160 m (185 yds). Colours: #21, #22, #23 and #71 – 1, 1.5, (1.5), 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5 skeins of each color.
Stitches Used: Ch – chain, sl st – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet.
Gauge: 23 stitches x 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in)
Sizes: XS, S, (M), L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL
