In the previous video, click here, we learned how to crochet a basic crop top. Today we will add a lace edge to the bottom of the top. You even could make a dress using this pattern, just repeat the second round as many times as you need.

MATERIALS:
Yarn: Alize Bella Fingering / 4 ply 100% Cotton 196 yards / 50 grams – 100 grams
Crochet Hook: 2 mm
Stitches Used: ch-chain, sl st-slip stitch, sc-single crochet, dc-double crochet, tog3dc-3 dc crochet together, picot
Gauge: 26.0 sts = 4 inches
Size: width – 76 cm or 30 in, length – 21 cm or 8 in, shoulders straps – 33 cm(/2) or 13 in (/2)
PATTERN:
The number of stitches should be a multiple of 12 (…120, 132, 144, 156…). I made 132 stitches.
Round 1: join a thread to the bottom of the top. ch-1, sc in the same space, picot, * ch-5, skip next 3 sc, sc in next sc, picot **, rep from * to ** to the end of the row, ch-2, dc in the 1st sc (33 ch-5 spaces)
Round 2-3: ch-1, sc in same space, picot, * ch-5, sc in next ch-5 space, picot **, rep from * to ** to the end of the row, ch-2, dc in the 1st sc (repeat this round until you’ll reach the desired length)
Round 4: ch-1, sc in same space, picot, * (ch-5, sc in next ch-5 space) rep once, ch-5, sc in next ch-5 space, picot **, rep from * to ** to the end of the row, ch-3, dc in the 1st sc
Round 5: * ch-5, sc in next ch-5 space, 6 dc in next ch-5 space, sc in next ch-5 space **, rep from * to ** to the end of the row, join with sl to the 1st st
Round 6: sl st in next ch-5 space, ch-1, sl st in the same space, ch-1, sc in the same space, * ch-1, (dc in next dc, ch-2) rep 4 times, dc in next dc, ch-1 **, rep from * to ** to the end of the row, join with sl st to the 1st sc
Round 7: ch-1, sc in the same space, * ch-1, (tog3dc in next ch-2 space, picot, ch-3) rep 3 times, tog3dc in next ch-2 space, picot, ch-1, sc in next sc **, rep from * to to the end of the row, join wtih sl st to the 1st sc
