Crochet Textured Blanket Free Pattern

Crochet Blanket Free Pattern

I have an old blanket by Zara I like it so much but time did not spare it and I decided to make a new one. I got something similar and maybe even better than Zara’s blanket. For this blanket, I used two kinds of yarn Alize Alpaca Royal and Alize Alpaca Royal Tweed. I alternated them (a skein of grey then a skein of tweed yarn) to make visible the texture of the pattern. But you can use any yarn you like for this blanket.

MATERIALS:

Yarn:

Alize Alpaca Royal (alpaca 30% wool 15% acrylic 55%, DK (11 wpi), 273 yards(250 meters), 100 grams (3.53 ounces), 22.0 sts = 4 inches) – 8 skeins

Alize Alpaca Royal Tweed – (15% Alpaca, 15% Wool, 5% Viscose, 65% Acrylic, DK (11 wpi), 273 yards(250 meters), 100 grams (3.53 ounces), 22.0 sts = 4 inches) – 9 skeins

Stitches Used: sl st – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, dc – double crochet, fpdc – front post double crochet, bpdc – back post double crochet, puff st – pull the loops 5 times then yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook, ch-1.
